Play Laugh & Learn with us!
At Creative Minds ELC we facilitate learning via a play-based approach.
Children’s natural curiosity about their world guides our teachers’ design for learning. Children are encouraged to explore nature, garden and cook from their harvest, and to embrace all their senses for a learning experience encompasing the WHOLE child. Social skills, math & literacy are camouflaged in storytelling, music, dance, arts & crafts, mindful movement (e.g., guided balance poses), and active outdoor games. Brief structured activities are sprinkled into our day, helping children to develop school readiness behaviors and cooperative group skills.
We develop themes for learning environments inspired from the interests of our children. Themes are adaptable and fluid, allowing children to choose from the available activities and centers. Our experienced teachers will join in with the child’s play experience to provide a model and guide for healthy social skill development and cognitive enrichment.

Our approach to learning is child directed and whole child centered.
